Legacy Coordination Network Advocate (LCNA) is a coalition of community stakeholders created with the intent to increase civic engagement in African Heritage communities around a shared agenda.
The organization focuses on promoting collaboration and dialogue among various community groups, fostering a sense of unity and empowerment. Through its initiatives, LCNA aims to address social, economic, and political challenges faced by African Heritage communities, working towards sustainable and inclusive solutions. By leveraging the collective expertise and resources of its members, LCNA strives to create lasting positive change and enhance the well-being of the communities it serves.
To drive increased engagement within the African Heritage communities, it's crucial that these communities embrace the policies being advocated on their behalf.
This can be achieved by actively involving legacy African Heritage institutions such as the NAACP, churches, African Diaspora community organizations, and Divine 9. Their participation is essential for successful advocacy and community buy-in.
At Legacy Community Network Advocate (LCNA), we are dedicated to implementing strategies to increase voter turnout among African American male voters effectively. Moreover, we aim to register African American families and formerly incarcerated individuals to vote.
Create comprehensive and well-researched communication strategies that are specifically tailored to engage and empower the African Heritage community on important and sensitive issues. These plans should be designed to foster meaningful connections and ensure active participation from the community on critical matters.
An objective is to offer comprehensive educational resources and pertinent information to African Heritage communities in Minnesota, with a focus on enhancing their understanding of the state's electoral and political systems.
